CapForge is a small business bookkeeping, tax filing & planning, and payroll service provider. Even though the website has been live since 2003, there wasn’t a growth in organic traffic for more than two years.
We kickstarted the SEO campaign by fixing the basic on-page SEO, and technical SEO issues. Soon after that we did a complete content audit and came up with new content ideas and identified pages that required content refresh.
In the next stage we started doing manual blogger outreach to find niche-relevant sites with high authority.
In a few weeks time the website started showing signs of improvement with noticeable growth in the organic traffic.
From just 329 website visitors per month in August 2020, we could bring 1900 visitors per month to the website in January 2021. Within four months, organic traffic grew by more than 100%.
We helped with their on-page, off-page and technical SEO strategy. Within the second month, we saw a substantial increase in the number of organic visitors.
Using our robust strategy and competitive analysis, we were able to transform the website into what it is today. We worked on the website’s meta title, meta description and other on-page factors to ensure that it meets Google’s quality guidelines.
In terms of technical SEO, the page loading speed of the website was very slow and there wasn’t a proper structured data in place. We worked on improving these aspects and improved the loading speed.
Our content audit revealed gaps in the content present in services pages and blogs. There wasn’t enough content present on the website to help it rank on Google. We refreshed the existing content with our native writers’ help and bridged the content gap on the site. We also suggested new content ideas for the site’s blog.
Since we were working on a financial website, adhering to E.A.T quality was of utmost importance. We enlisted the names of all the professional accountants working for the clients and created author bio for each of them. This helped us to publish blog posts under the names of various experts in the field of finance and accounting.
With the website performance improved and content gaps taken care of, we focused on the link building activities. Since we have a huge inventory of niche relevant domains, finding domains related to finance and accounting for link building was not very difficult.
Since the website had a domain authority of 19, we shortlisted those that had more than 30+ and 40+ DA and contacted them. Once we heard back from the webmasters, we got our native writers into the action of crafting compelling outreach content and placing the link to service pages and blog posts contextually.
The articles were then sent to client review and on approval, were published on respective client sites. We did 4 guest posts per month on average for the client’s blog and service page.
The SEO campaign was highly successful as the website started seeing considerable organic growth within one month.
They wanted to bring more related traffic to their website, so we analyzed and identified keywords to optimize their web content and blog posts. We noticed a majority of the traffic coming to the homepage, pricing page, and bookkeeping service page.
By the end of December 2020, the monthly organic visitors on the site was about 1100. The organic traffic touched the all-time high of 1300 for the website in January 2021, just five months after we started the fully managed SEO service for the website.
We already knew that for a website like CapForge, which publishes a lot of YMYL content, the strategy has to be focused on increasing the trust factor. During each stage of implementation, we made sure that whatever we did helped the site to increase the authenticity within the particular niche.
The links, the content we created and other technical SEO specific changes we made to the site, all contributed to achieving a substantial increase in the user base of CapForge. The result we achieved for them is all here for you to see.
