The agreement closes a chapter in Newfold\u2019s portfolio that was built partly around serving major corporations, while reinforcing the company\u2019s commitment to entrepreneurs and growing businesses.<\/p>\n

The announcement came with a statement from Newfold describing the sale as part of a broader strategy to streamline its offerings.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Company leaders pointed to core brands like Bluehost and Network Solutions as the centerpieces of future investment.<\/p>\n

MarkMonitor, based in Boise, has long been regarded as a pioneer in domain protection for major enterprises. Its reputation was forged in the late 1990s when the company developed services to guard corporations against cybersquatting and online brand abuse.
