Denver Wash & Fold is a local business that offers washing and folding services in Thorton, Colorado. They also offer dry cleaning services.
Started in June 2019, the website targets people who want to drop off or pick up laundry from their location. The website saw negligible organic growth in the first few months and failed to show up in the map pack.
Challenges
Stan Ventures started building links for Denver Wash & Fold in 2020 November. This was the time when the website was getting less than a hundred organic users per month.
Though this was purely a link building engagement, we suggested creating high-quality blogs, focusing on on-site optimization, improving the site structure, and guiding them to create specific pages for each service and location. This ensured that the results from quality backlinks are not diluted due to other SEO issues.
Strategy
In addition to building backlinks, we also helped the website get quality citations, reviews and most importantly optimized the Google My Business page with highly relevant information.
Result
Soon after we implemented the SEO strategies, the business started featuring on the Google Map Pack for “near me” keywords.
Over a period of ten months, it improved the rankings within the map pack and made it to the top three for some of the highly competitive local search keywords.
Interestingly, you can see that growth in organic search traffic is in sync with the number of referring domains that we built.
The SEO results were so impressive that the client saw a massive improvement in the footfall to the store. There was a time when the client was finding it hard to manage people who waited in line to drop off their laundry.
When we started the link building, the website was getting 70 users per month. In a matter of one year, this increased to almost 800+ organic visitors per month with the number increasing monthly without showing any signs of a dip.
For a small local business like Denver Wash & Fold, it is a 10X increase in the overall traffic, which means they received more than what they asked for.
