Background

After witnessing a flat phase of almost no traffic that’s inevitable for newbie websites, the site has gradually grown in terms of organic traffic since 2019. When we first met Atomic Blaze in April 2022, they had a monthly organic traffic of 3500+ visitors.

However, in business, no growth is 100% growth, right? That too, in a hotcake landscape like eCommerce, it’s a rule of thumb for businesses to scale up constantly to outdo the competition and get to the top.

So, we rolled up our sleeves to help the client scale new heights online. We kickstarted with a complete site audit to find out where the site lags behind and identify fresh opportunities for organic growth.

Based on the insights, our team came up with a tailor-made, fully managed SEO strategy for Atomic Blaze.

On-Page Recommendations

With the site audit, we found out that the product pages of the eCommerce site weren’t optimized with the right keywords. As you can see from the below image, the site ranked in the top 3 for only 221 target keywords. That’s quite a small number for an online store with several product pages to show up higher on SERPs.

Following that revelation, our team worked closely with the client to break down the details and add the right keywords to corresponding product pages.

While adding keywords was important, we made sure they weren’t overused. After all, keyword stuffing can lead to a negative SEO impact. Our content writers made sure that the target keywords were placed naturally in the content.

Besides leveraging product pages for keyword placements, we also used their blog posts to insert relevant keywords. To top it off, we linked blog posts to relevant product pages using those keywords.

As a result of implementing a customized SEO strategy, we made it possible for Atomic Blaze to rank in the top 3 for 398 target keywords (which was 221 previously) in just 5 months. Also, the site started ranking for a total of 11,608 keywords in the top 100 (which was previously 7,002).
