Edward Kurstak sells original prints and paintings from the biggest names in pop and street art: Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Shepard Fairey. The price tags are high. The buyer pool is small. And the search results for those artist names are packed with museums, auction houses, and marketplaces sitting on link profiles built over decades.
A gallery this size doesn’t out-spend Sotheby’s. It has to out-earn it, one relevant link and one well-aimed page at a time. That was the assignment.

When the engagement kicked off in May 2025, edwardkurstak.com had 82 referring domains and pulled fewer than 300 organic visits a month. For a head term like “andy warhol art,” 22,000 people search it every month, the gallery wasn’t on page one. It wasn’t close.
It got harder before it got better. Through the back half of 2025, organic traffic actually slid, bottoming at 108 visits in December. New authority in a competitive niche doesn’t arrive on a schedule, and the early months went into groundwork that hadn’t paid off yet. The foundation had to come first.
