The Client
Central Arkansas Service Company: HVAC And Plumbing In Little Rock
Central Arkansas Service Company (centralarservice.com) handles HVAC and plumbing work across Little Rock and North Little Rock. AC installs, furnace repair, drain cleaning, commercial plumbing. The kind of business where one page 1 ranking means a phone that actually rings.
President Brandon Wilson brought Stan Ventures on in late November 2025 with a clear brief: get found. On Google Maps, in the local pack, in organic results, and in AI search answers. The problem was that the market they serve is packed with home service brands sitting on years of content, reviews, and backlinks. Central Arkansas Service Company was starting from almost nothing.
The Challenge
A Domain Rating Of 0.5 In A Market That Rewards Authority
At kickoff the numbers were rough. Domain Rating: 0.5. Referring domains: 47. Keywords in Google’s top 10: exactly one. Searches like “hvac contractor little rock” put the site at position 84. “Drain cleaning service little rock” sat at 99. For most of its own core services, the site did not rank at all. Service keywords pointed at one generic plumbing page instead of pages built for each job type.
The December audit explained why. One generic plumbing page was carrying commercial plumbing, drain cleaning, leak detection, and residential work all at once. Structured data was missing across page types. Search Console had unresolved errors sitting in the index. The Google Business Profile was thin, the Bing Places and Apple Maps listings barely existed, and the citation footprint didn’t agree with itself on the business’s own name, address, and phone number. In January, 42 of the 49 tracked keywords weren’t ranking anywhere in Google’s top 100.
Fixing that meant surgery, and surgery has a recovery period. We rebuilt the site architecture around dedicated service pages through January and February, and Google took weeks to re-read the new URLs. Ahrefs-visible traffic bottomed out in January, and the rank tracker dipped to just 4 ranking keywords in March. We flagged the dip to Brandon in advance, tracked every task in the shared WIP sheet, and kept building. By Q2 the curve flipped hard.
The Strategy
Fix The Foundation, Then Pour On Links
A $5,000/month local SEO program that ran in sequence, not in parallel chaos. Month one rebuilt the foundation. Month two switched on content, citations, and links. Months three through six held a fixed monthly cadence while technical health checks ran in the background. Every deliverable went through client approval in a shared WIP sheet before anything shipped.
Foundation
GA4, Tag Manager, and Search Console set up in week one. Then a full technical audit, structured data analysis for every page type (home, services, FAQ, blogs), and a new site architecture with a dedicated page for each HVAC and plumbing service. A competitor keyword gap analysis against two rivals plus an AI keyword analysis built the target list.
On-Page And Content
Keyword research prioritized 10 key pages, each mapped to a primary keyword with new meta tags and an internal linking plan of one keyword per page. Then the monthly engine: a 2,000-word pillar blog, four internal blogs, and three existing blog refreshes, all outlined around AI-focused keywords. One AC leak post now pulls 33,232 monthly impressions on its own.
Links
15 links a month at full cadence: 9 guest posts on DA 30+ sites, 3 on DA 40+, 3 on DA 50+, plus 5 organic links and community mentions and 2 new brand mentions. Every domain pre-approved before outreach, every link pointed at a page that needed the push.
Local SEO On Three Maps
The Google Business Profile rebuilt end to end: NAP details, service listings, videos, business description, hours. Bing Places and Apple Maps brought up to the same standard. Then 4 GMB posts and up to 10 managed reviews a month, backed by 30 local citations including AI citation directories.
How The Six Months Ran
Every date below comes straight from the shared WIP sheet. Each deliverable was reviewed and approved by the client before implementation.
The Results
753% More Referring Domains In Under Eight Months
By June 2026 the compounding kicked in. Organic sessions jumped 54.3% month over month to 415, clicks rose 75.7% to 260, impressions climbed 83.5% to 70,076, and 7 tracked keywords landed on page 1 of Google. And it wasn’t brand searches doing the lifting: non-branded impressions grew 66.9% to 26,841 in June, with non-branded clicks up 25%. That’s new demand finding the site, not existing customers googling the name.
Referring domains by July 2026, up from 47 at kickoff (Ahrefs).

Tracked Keywords Ranking
The March dip is the site restructure being re-crawled. It recovered within a month and kept climbing.
Keyword Wins
From Position 84 To Position 8
The wins came on two fronts. The blog program grabbed position 1 for 11 keywords in the AC leak question cluster, over 7,000 combined monthly searches of homeowners one step away from booking a repair, and the exact question-style queries AI assistants pull answers from. And the new service pages moved the local money keywords: low volume, high intent, where one searcher for “commercial plumber little rock” is worth more than a thousand tire kickers.
Three more wins didn’t make the table because their search volumes are tiny: “air conditioning system installation little rock” and “sewer line cleaning services little rock” both sit at position 2 from nowhere, and “commercial drain cleaning service little rock” climbed from 95 to 5. Every commercial keyword above now lands on a page built for that exact job, like /plumbing/commercial-plumbing/ or /plumbing/drain-cleaning-service/, instead of the homepage. That’s what the January restructure bought.
Why It Worked
Pages Built For The Job, Links Built For The Pages
Most local SEO programs skip the hard part. They pour links at a site whose pages were never built to rank, then wonder why nothing moves. We did it in the right order: rebuild the pages first, eat the short-term dip, then point 15 links a month at URLs that could actually convert the authority into positions. Every keyword in the table above ranks on a page created or rebuilt during this engagement.
- One page per service. “Drain cleaning” stopped sharing a URL with every other plumbing keyword. Position 99 became position 14.
- Link cadence that compounds. 15 links a month across DA 30, 40, and 50+ tiers took referring domains from 47 to 401 and DR from 0.5 to 24.
- Local trust stacked early. GBP, Bing Places, Apple Maps, and 30 citations went live in month one, so link authority landed on a consistent NAP footprint.
- Content that catches demand. Five new or refreshed blogs a month built on AI-focused, question-style keywords. The AC leak cluster owns position 1 for the exact questions homeowners ask, and the site now pulls 70,076 monthly impressions, up 83.5% in June alone.
- Non-branded proof. June’s growth came from generic queries, not brand searches: non-branded impressions up 66.9%, non-branded clicks up 25%. That’s new customers, not existing ones googling the name.
- Honesty about the dip. The January restructure cost visibility for weeks. We said so upfront, and the client stayed the course into the Q2 surge.
