What if we told you 75% of home buyers choose the first real estate brokerage they talk to?
To be the one your potential customers get in touch with first, you need to be easily visible to them. That’s what makes real estate SEO a necessity and no longer an option.
Here’s a look at how we helped a real estate firm achieve 10 times more organic growth online.
About the Client
Tomoro is an Australian real estate agency offering an array of services, including real estate sale, purchase and renting, real estate investing, and property management. Led by Tye Thies and Emmy Thies, team Tomoro works with a mission to ensure a streamlined and hassle-free real estate journey for their customers.
The real estate agency wanted to be quickly visible to their potential customers online and attract more new prospects using their official business website.
Upon understanding the client’s main objective, we realized that we had to gear up their organic traffic rate in order to boost their online visibility.
When we met Tomoro for the first time in February 2022, their website was generating just 30+ monthly organic traffic. It was almost like beginning from scratch in terms of SEO
The project seemed quite challenging, yes. But, the good news is that we at Stan Ventures always love challenges.
To us, Tomoro was a baby just waiting to discover its true potential. The responsibility of triggering the transformation was upon our team.
We initiated the project with a sitewide audit to understand what is holding back the site from gaining substantial traffic organically.
The findings that followed made way for us to build a 360-degree, fully managed SEO strategy to overcome the hurdles Tomoro was facing.
Simply put, it was an all-in-one offering for the site’s many problems, including on-page SEO issues, content gaps and a not-so-strong backlink profile to beat the increasing competition in the real estate landscape.
After an in-depth site audit, we found that Tomoro had a lot of room for improvement, both on-page and off-page. We decided to leverage these on-page and off-page opportunities to drive more qualified traffic to the client’s website.
Once we figured out what we had to do to turn the tables in our client’s favor, our team came up with a detailed action plan, including on-page fixes, content audit and powerful link building. We executed it as below.

While the website chiefly needed to strengthen its backlink profile to perform better online, we knew that leaping straight away to backlinks alone would not fetch desired results.
We focused on every small detail within the site to begin optimizing it from within.
To start with, the site was lagging behind when it came to keywords. As you can see below, the site ranked in the top 100 places for 94 keywords in total.
With that, we set out to conduct detailed keyword research to identify keyword opportunities that the site had missed out on.
Upon shortlisting the target keywords the site had to rank for, we inserted them in appropriate instances on the site’s service pages and blog posts. We also used keywords to optimize headings and meta tags to get the site to show up more often on search results.
During keyword placements, our content specialists made sure that the keyword occurrences were aligned to blend naturally with a page’s content.
The keyword rankings initially had a flat phase. But then, with consistent effort, there were signs of progress in the following months.
We noticed a significant spike in keyword rankings in May 2022 and in September 2022, the site was ranking for 291 keywords (from Just 94 keywords in February 2022).

Our team carried out keyword optimization and content upgrades hand in hand and that helped us pull up the site on SERPs.
Apart from including keywords in the existing content, we also upgraded it to close potential content gaps and meet the user intent.
Additionally, our content team also came up with recommendations to create and publish new content for increased user engagement.
Following content refresh, we linked relevant resource pages to the site’s service pages and fixed broken links to bolster the website’s infrastructure.
Once on-page optimization was done, it was time to build links on external websites that point to the client’s site.
Here’s what it looked like before we started building links.
Our outreach team took charge of narrowing down sites to acquire link building opportunities for Tomoro. Once they evaluated the sites against 20+ link building metrics, the list was sent for the client’s review.
After the client’s affirmation, we created content that reflected the client’s field expertise and sent them across with contextual link placements to selected webmasters and bloggers for publication. We received live links shortly.
As you can see below, there were 225 domains referring to the client’s site after our link building efforts.

After coming across a brief flat curve for a few weeks, the site started gaining momentum as our strategy began to work. From just 30 website visits a month, the site leaped to 300 monthly visitors in September 2022. It all happened in a matter of months
With the timely execution of campaigns and other activities, Tomoro started gaining more organic traffic month by month. Bringing together consistent teamwork and excellent client communication, we pushed Tomoro to reach a 10X organic growth milestone. As always, we were glad to see one more client grow with us.
